I just fancied something a bit different. The problem when you take photos in the same place for nearly two decades is that you start to find yourself taking the same photos year after year. It can all start to feel a bit samey and you start to long for travelling further afield.

One morning I saw a photo taken with a prism come in to Unsplash and remember my old fractal knuckleduster from back in the day. Hmm, I wonder if you can use them with film cameras (the answer is 'yes Annie, obviously', I could tell Siri was hard judging me).

And so I ordered a few different ones and in the absence of enough good daylight to use a film camera I took out my trusty Canon EOS 5with the old 1.8 lens from my Canon film camera on. It's not the sharpest so gives a little bit of a nostalgic look that I'm really into at the moment.
