Windier than it looks.
The second morning of Storm Bert wasn't as bad as the previously day. Going a little stir crazy at home and gripped by curiosity I drove down to the beach at Lepe.
I was pretty much alone, bar a few of the hardier local dog walkers and got to enjoy the beach mainly to myself. Oystercatchers and turnstones feasted on the shoreline, completely oblivious or once, to my presence.
I'm a huge fan of walking along the beach in adverse weather. It makes one feel strong, connected to your surroundings and acutely aware of the resilience and strength of nature.
And of course, put simply, it's a mood.
