We went to Alpe Huez recently for the Marmotte Granfondo, with Al cycling in the 177 kilometre race which clocked up a crazy 5000 metres of elevation - all in sweltering heat.
I took my Leica Sofort and a lot of film to capture the goings on from where I was based at Alpe Huez. I do have half an eye on the Sofort 2 but I can't justify buying that bad boy just yet.

And now for the beautiful surroundings, right next to Le Petit Prince hotel is a footpath that leads to some spectacular views...
